Hope Charter School/Legacy Charter High School will be hosting it's inaugural 5k run/walk starting and finishing at Tanner Hall in Winter Garden, FL. Proceeds from the event will go toward building campus athletic fields as well as a fitness area and weight room. Tri & Run of West Orange will be headquarters for registration, packet pick up and timing for the event.
The event will start/finish at Tanner Hall, 29 West Garden Avenue, Winter Garden FL 34787. The course will wind through neighborhoods north of Plant Street in downtown Winter Garden. Check out "course maps" for more detail. Top 3 overall/age group awards provided as well as one top Masters(40+) for both genders. Event tees and goody bags to all who are registered before midnight on May 2, 2015. Special rates for 15 & under/65 & over ($20). Ladies please size up on your event tee. "Heart healthy" post race food and drinks provided.
